Building these stadiums shouldn't really cost anything, as the Olympics rake in so much money from sponsors and tv rights, but IOC take most of that money. Some of the profits should be set aside for running the facilities ater the games are over.

Dame Tessa Jowell's fault, yes the person who became a Dame recently, her work in choosing this stadium design when everyone was saying it would be a white elephant is breathtaking.

From the get-go, the UK media have been appallingly gutless on the Olympic stadium. Maybe they're intimidated by the peerage or merely afraid to criticise their friends in hight places, they have done a terrible job in informing the British public of what has been a shoddy project. Put the butt-sucking sycophants at BBC at the top of the list, especially that Adrian Healey twit.

Good video that, looks amazing. Having the quotes at the end is a bit cheesy, surely Level and Under Armour guy could take some time out for a short interview at least.

It looks like not much work was needed to get the land ready, which is a plus.
Never understood why the supermarket is going up first. IMO it only restricts access to the site when building starts on the stadium.

Wolves do some kind of camera thing showing video footage 24 hrs a day of the stadium. Now I wouldnt watch it for 24 hrs a day but to see it progress would be damn fudgein cool

The hits the web page would get would be immense IMO. Definitely something people will check on a daily basis, like emails. (That Wolves one I looked at everyday for like a month). Advertising on the page would pay for the thing to be done.
Its not like we don't have the perfect situation should the stadium be built in a horseshoe first of all. With the North Stand the perfect vantage point for any cameras.
