Sigh. Sounds like it's this Postecoglou chap. Oh, well.

Good luck to him. He has my backing, same as Nuno did - but there is more than a fair chance it ends the same way that Nuno's brief tenure ended, and I'm hoping that doesn't happen.

Beyond that, not much any manager can feasibly do under these owners, so he has my sympathy as well as my backing.

As no one ever told you that you are a right miserable sod.;)

If Spurs are still in the market for a coach from The Colonies in the future, another colonist with a Spurs history is learning his craft in MLS - Paul Stalteri with Toronto FC.

The way Brad Bobbley - err, uh, Bob Bradley - is running into the ground the league's highest-priced side (3W-9D-5L, 12th place in a 15-team conference), we could see Stalteri gaining valuable head coaching experience very soon.

We could just hire Bob Bradley - man has more PL coaching experience than Postecoglou, and about the same track record at club and international levels. Won the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2007 with the US, a few pots and pans in the US, and probably in Egypt and Norway too.

Think they're about comparable in age, too.

Note - I am joking, and I ***do not want*** Bob Bradley. But that his CV is pretty comparable to the incoming manager of Tottenham Hotspur is sobering thought.

What was Nuno's record - 14 games? Anyone running a book?

Agent has supposedly let it drop that they've been working on the deal for two months, shouldn't be much left to agree i would think.
That can't be true, we have been offering the job and been rejected by managers left right and centre according to some.

And people have been ranting that Levy has just been sitting there doing nothing since Conte got sacked....

His managerial portfolio has only travelled in one direction - upwards. He's been a winner wherever he's managed and has played an eye-pleasing style. What's not to like with that?

Maybe we can counter the snobs wanting to snub him by calling him Poch-tecoglou.

I don’t really agree with the rest of your post but it’s getting a like for the last line which made me roar. Well played Sir…

Not sure where this is on the pecking order of things to sort out but I wouldn’t be against Ange bringing the song Celtic sing with him.

Live it up by Mental as Anything. Aussie band aswell.

Surely a bit more about it pre game than the Bazza Manilow number.

Bring back the Enfield Town Band.

Bold move from Levy.

This guy sounds like the right kind of manager but has never managed above pub level. It's a huge step up, hopefully those skills will translate across the quality gap.

Either that or Levy expects us to get relegated 3 seasons in a row to a point where the new guy's experience will be an advantage.

it really is a bold move by Levy.

Nevermind that he's not supposed to be talking to anyone while under contract to another club.
It is what it is though and i'm quite enjoying actually being quite close to the action for a change, so at least let me enjoy it :p.
