New front page/Site issues

I like the new site Scara but since implementation I've developed a nasty rash by my left nutsickle. Can this be fixed? If I turn of ad-blocker will it go away?

You should definitely turn off ad blocker. Scara needs more of this:

I miss the old old old board... When it was all white...oooh this one kinda feels like a modern version! (May have still been yidtalk or spurs update)

But the old board only ever means the purple one :) ...and I miss it too :'(

Yes it will, just turn off adblocker and wait two months and it should be gone...

Get someone else to do it for ya - I find that sending the mods threatening pm's is the easiest way...
 
Looks good Scara!

Personally I'm not sold on the avatar images of the thread starter on the forum page thing, just looks cluttered to me. Might just be personal preference or an adjustment thing.

Overall it looks nice and clean. If it gets rid of the bugs and is easier to manage at the same time all the better.

How about a donation button? I know this has been poo pooed in the past but if you need advertising revenue to help run the site maybe the odd donation might help as well?

I know, but it appears to be not only a default, but unchangeable feature. :(
 
I like the nostalgia of the old forums -how far back can you go with screenshots / internet archives of past front pages?
