Vice captains are quite a new concept. We've had joint captains before, like when Keane took over some of the load from King. But IIRC we never had vice captains until Ange named Romero and Maddison that to support Son

Wasn't Kane the vice captain to Hugo or was that a wrong assumption by myself?

Whether I agreed or not, there was never any doubt in my mind that Kane would wear the armband when Hugo wasn't in the side.
