The lights go out, just some lights in the tunnel stay on.. the Undertakers music hits with a chorus of "oh when the Spuuuurs" slowly sung around the stadium by the fans, then the song finishes and the lights come back on.

I'd go for something similar, with a song from a film soundtrack. An Orchestral (Unstoppable, from 1.38)vibe has the best build up.
Dont forget, its only for 30 seconds or so.

Good choice. I've seen it used a lot in the NFL, but there is an issue - there's nowhere good to fade that track.

It just ends up sounding empty when it fades and generally leaves me feeling underwhelmed (not a feeling usually associated with that track).

Leave it to me mate. I know this song inside out and back to friend...it's after the first 'we're off to never never land'...if you really wanted to get 'edit-y' you'd cut it there and come back in on the last 'da na na na na, da na na na -OOOO...' and then just let it end...

Well, you've opened up a whole new can of worms by bringing the might HP Baxxter into the mix! So many options...so little time...this would be a right livener, especially if the crowd tried to sing and jump along!!!!! In fact, it could give us a slightly 'mentalists-by-way-of-St.Pauli' edge...

That Phantom Menace music is dreadful! If you're going to use music from a film, at least pick a film that has a decent score, I bet most Spurs fans have no clue where the music is from.
