I think that's maybe an over-simplification? For sure the chorus has been that Trippier is the better going forward but from what I've read on here there's real anxiety about his inferiority at the back.

I've read plenty online claiming Walker is inferior to Trippier... it's scary how fans change their minds so quickly imo

Walker is genuine top drawer whilst Trippier has some top draw attributes like his crossing but so far I've never seen him excel in a defensive role... he excels in the attacking side
