no no no no dele should have stayed, completely misunderstood player, just needs to be played off the striker and he’d be back scoring 20 a season ;)

Not sure we gave them that spell, I think Brighton are just good enough to do that to teams.

Even after the 3-1 which surely knocked their confidence and upped ours they looked threatening.

We encouraged them onto us too much and when they scored I could see us conceding an equaliser. Needed that immediate 3rd goal.
 
Good night all round really. Couple of individuals maybe not quite up to it, but the overall team shape and organisation looks to make the best of this. The new boys look like they will give us either an upgrade in the engine room or a completely different option from the head down and hope for the best approach on the right.
Romero was particularly impressive and if Bissouma is innocent he’d improve a few teams above Brighton in the summer.

Yep, possible ban for this incoming but I don’t mind him as a commentator, even on Spurs games. No doubt he wanted to mention the 8 semi final losses but it’s not exactly fake news is it?

What an interesting performance. At different times seeing Sanchez up front, Kane at LB and Royal popping up on the left wing at one stage, it was a bit more chaotic than I thought it would be but everyone pitching in isn’t exactly a bad thing.

Touches from Bentancur around 82nd / 83rd minute had me sold, looks like he has a lot in his locker.

Hey… their goal came form a mad deflection
Their other good chance came from Romero slipping
They actually crafted and created nothing really
Every time we attacked we look a threat
