Sorry, but who is wishing him gone? All i see is laments on the fact that we may be reaching a point where he goes as things are stagnatiing etc, but i don't see anyone wanting him gone...
 
Have to question Poch's HT team talk. And the Ref clam who got Poch red carded to the stands. Normally he's talking to players in breaks of play. When we lost momentum Poch wasn't there to get them focused. But back to HT - I think Poch was probably thinking well done lads. Keep going, everything is good. Get a second goal etc etc

Actually: it was preditable Southampton would change something and improve their performance second half. We were not ready for that fight. Poch didn't react to their HT sub, or give the side a rollocking for not taking chances. But then he did not know what was to come. Some in the match thread called it - southampton will come back stronger 2nd half. Did Poch?

We played so well first half I can see why Poch would be pleased. What an upsetting performance as we totally dominated them first half and threw it away. A bit of a wake up call to Poch, Levy, the squad.

Totally agree about the cliques thing, it's why I would never ever play Eriksen and lamela together, it doesn't work because lam is taking one of the cliques place.
The videos of lamela at Roma he was a greedy direct player, now he looks like he is totally unselfish and trying to I gratiate his why into the team. He is caught on the ball for the same reasons dele and Eriksen r were today, trying to play in the popular choice, not the best placed player.

In the match thread there were a few, and others if not quite wishing for it certainly blasé about his departure.

Difference is there is feck all we can do about it.
So we might as dry the tears, metaphorically, and move on.
As for replacing Pochettino, a little knee jerk, no?

Only have two criticisms of Poch. 1. his forsight is not as great as his analysis. 2. he needs to do what Guardiola did - demand more clinical finishing.

It is almost a cultural thing. Create a culture and focus on being a ruthless machine that finds the net as routine. Develop the attacking setups - movement and finishing mentali1y in the side. It did not happen overnight at city. They went almost 2 years before Guardiola got rid of thier wastfulness. Remember when Guardiola came out publicy lambasting city's ability to finish their chances? Poch doesn't have their riches but he needs to lay down a marker never the less as Guardiola did - state we have to clinical. We have to focus on working space in attack, and putting teams to the sword.

Absolutely, suggesting action that drastic would be lunacy (I don’t think anyone is suggesting that though).

it’s the spineless cowardly squad we need to replace, every single one of them.
