Not even on a holiday?
Not even to the toilet?
Not even to the toilet?
Poch doesn't use the toilet, bad aura's in there.
No chance of a courtesy flush, pal?Sorry about that. I'd give it five minutes.
No he didn't
He said he likes technology and likes VAR but (a) it needs to work quicker and (b) we need clarity about when it will be used
Had Arsenal not put that infrastructure in place they would be even further behind now than they are.
My point is that the infrastructure they have allows the owners to keep the dough flowing in; their board allowed Wenger free reign as long as that was happening, they didn't care about on-field stuff beyond making sure the Top 4 money was flowing. If they wanted to they could spend a load to get them back competing at the top and it wouldn't hurt them one bit - if that was their intention. Luckily for us, it's not their intention and in fact Kroneke is using Arsenal as his cash point/cash back-up whilst he ironically builds a new 4/5Bn new stadium for his Rams NFL team.
Again, it could so easily go the same way for us whereby the owners concentrate on the new Real Estate and Hotel/Entertainment complex and give minimal attention to the football beyond just getting top 4.
As i say, time will tell.
I’m not sure there is much need for a Hotel/Entertainment complex near the ground!

He sounds (as he always has imo) like someone who knows full well what the clubs financial position is in relation to our rivals and, contrary to what some will have you believe, has not been stitched by Levy and the board over a lack of backing.
Though it's fair to say he clearly recognizes that in order to maintain a consistent level of challenging at the top for titles regularly that you need money to spend
I think most managers would have remained silent in the circumstances, but he's pretty unequivocal here:

People will stay anywhere where there work, that hotel will Vacuum all the local midweek corporate business and the people will have places to dine and drink, weekends they will get the game day business, enhanced more with the NFL.
Or the argument that the transfer budget would be effected...then they signed no-one, being the first club in years to sign no-one in a summer transfer window...
Just putting it out there for balance...
The jury is still out there for ENIC either way, time will tell...[/QUOTE]
You are joking i do not know how old you are but were you around in the 90's when we were mostly brick and not rated by most other clubs? Since ENIC came here we have been heading upwards and are now regarded as a top club and one who in the mix for all honours.
Yea how can the jury possibly be out on Enic? They’ve (Levy’s) worked miracles.
Indeed, its a shame that there are still a FEW fans who still think he is not doing enough.
Just said he doesn’t like Var!
He made that pretty clear to me, he also said that no one in La Liga are happy with it. Its perfection.
Indeed. Potentially VERY lucrative
