becoming a top footballer needs inherent skill, (normally) dedication and a big slice of luck (with injuries). I know of a few with large parts of the first two and none of the last, it really can be the difference between minimum wage and millionaire
 
Do you think he still has time to make it at Spurs? He's 22 already and not really been that close at all, and certainly not on a regular basis for any meaningful games (albeit injuries haven't helped him). Particularly if we sign 1 or 2 CMs, feels to me that his ship has sailed though he might have a career in the championship or league 1.

TOB is 3 years' younger than Amos, Skipp is 4 years younger and then no doubt other midfielders following on behind (I remember reading something about a kid called Bowden who was meant to be the next great thing)

He was in the first team squad last season and had a good pre-season. Skipp has taken his place but there might be space for both of them. He certainly needs a very good pre-season to stake a claim.
 
Skipp, Amos, Edwards, KWP...all can play a part next season espeically in the domenstic cups. I'd loan KWP to a side where we will play every game.
 
Let's hope Skipp, Marsh and Amos all have stellar pre-seasons... but cannot get into the squad because Spurs sign 3 incredible midfielders in June.
 
If we end up having 2 player per position as any top team needs, then even in domestic cups there aren't that many opportunities for kids to play. The level we're at now, its just a lot harder for them to break through and they need to be really top drawer

I really struggle to see Amos (22) or Marsh (21) being around at Spurs much longer given others Skipp (18?) and TOB (19) have additional time on their side to develop and are arguably better already. Realistically there's only room for 1 of those getting much first team action next season as well

I'd always be very pleased to see another youth product succeed, but apart from some good pre-season friendly performances last summer, he's done nothing in senior games at Spurs. I dont see him succeeding at Spurs at all!

I'm not going to argue with you, you are a lot more perceptive than me if you can form an opinion on one senior appearance.
