Ndicka on a free would be a good start and then all funds we can raise go towards two more, maybe hincapie and another of the same level and sign lenglet on another loan because he is better than most of what we have, which says it all.

Then we have romero, hincapie, bastoni (for example) with lenglet, Ndicka and tanganga as back up.

Be nice if the academy could produce someone but seems unlikely.

Rodon doing well in france apparently so that’s another potential back up.

Another back up could be a cheap young gem that FP can hopefully spot.
 
Still need another top top midfielder to partner bentancur.

I love peh for his effort and his quality is underrated but he should be back up if we have serious aspirations.

If we are clearing out players who are not good enough Lenglet needs to be on that list, even as back up.

Personally I’d be happy with:

Romero, Hincapie, Bastoni, Ndicka, Lenglet, Rodon as our 6 options for next season.

Don’t think we can expect more than that and actually chances are we wont even be able to manage that knowing us.

Buy yes we wont even be able to do that.

Plus we need a new top gk and a new top cm.

We might get a third of what we need at best.

Think we are going to be playing EL football long term now. Could still make top 4 this season but when you look at our rivals (those other 6 clubs) we could easily be the odd ones out going forward.

It would fix that side of course

I don’t agree about the EL though

we are more than capable of CL this season and future seasons with a few key signings

Not if Kane goes and Son on a downward trajectory.

Suddenly we would need so many new players all over the pitch and money is tight.

Can see us falling away tbh.
 
Wow hard to believe this result, I'm only thankful I didn't watch a second of it.

Seeing the Son stats I don't understand how's he's still starting when we have Rich fit and on the bench, Danjuma as well. Must be pretty de-motivating to not start ahead of him.

He isn't even near the worse at Spurs, Bentacur is and he showed it again with his yellow in the first 15 mins today. His first Red card for us only 8 yellows all last season

He isn't anywhere near what people paint hi. out to be in terms of discipline

It doesn’t matter who’s the “worst”. We have a team of utter fk ups, most of them are an accident waiting to happen at the back.Even the ones that didn’t start.
Today underlined it in red pen.
Front 3 was utter gash too.
Fuming still. Apathy throughout. Get rid of them all, and Conte, he’s not helping by being non-commitall and he ain’t bigger than the club.

With the right players we would be amazing under Conte, that I have zero doubt about.

When everyone is fit we still have to play an average keeper who routinely behaves like a clown, eric dier and peh who are good players but not good enough for what we need.

That’s right down the spine of the team.

There are also many other mitigating reasons for this season but I’m not going to get into that again because it doesn’t suit the narrative so it will either be played down or ignored.

Nothing any of us meaningless plebs can do anyway so no point stressing about it, just watch and see what happens.
