DeanoAustin
Rafael Van Der Vaart
The worst was that bloody Dean Austin.
A Tottenham legend. Or at least he would have been had he not broken his leg.
The worst was that bloody Dean Austin.
I thought he was ok.
I got annoyed with the amount of passes he made to Sissoko, it wasted many an opportunity. I hope to see it less as he settles and feels more senior.
He carried the ball forward, often had a forward pass on, but instead checked and played it to Sissoko, who then checked and just returned it or more often played it back...
The whole dynamic just slows to a halt when its like that.
And seemed very much to me like a young player just deferring to a senior one. As players feel more like they belong they take more responsibility themselves, I want to see this developing in KWP.
KWP could well be good enough, but he needs to step up and start acting like he belongs.
I dont think we have seen enough to be that absolute at all.
He has talent, and doesnt look out of his depth - even if he does look like he can improve.
If it walks like a duck etc.........
The lad is in way over his head. He has and never will be EPL material. He was more Hobson's choice before he was injured.
He seems like a good lad but he has been thrown in at the deep end as part of this bizarre period of team construction at Spurs recently.
I'm sorry mate that's gonad*s. A few MOTM performances don't lead you to believe he has ever been EPL quality? Whether he stakes a strong enough claim to be considered our number 1 RB is a big question yet to be answered but you're doing a kid a massive disservice.
Imagine many said the same about Adam Smith (footballer not the fat ugly Scot Economist) when he left the club and he's been solid for Bournemouth. I understand people not wanting to jump on bandwagons when it comes to youth products as they can be overhyped but being absurdly negative about them is far, far worse.
Anyway, I thought you were too offended to post on here? Glad to have you back but not if it's slagging off Tottenham lads to be honest.

I sadly don't think we are going to have many alternatives!I will stick with KWP.

Hasn’t travelled for the CL game apparently and seeing as Aurier has also been left at home to rest, I think its pretty clear something has happened and he likely doesnt have a future with the club.
Seems odd as he’s never really let us down from memory and has turned in some motm displays.
