He also played in our dour display at Liverpool, steely though it was. I think the wins had more to do with our squad returning to full fitness. But good performances from him nonetheless, and I'm fudging delighted he's getting his chance.
 
Good spot AS. His only blip was against Manbricky at home when Harry paired him with Mod in central midfield and they got completely overrun.

two things to say to that in good friendly manner bro, we played one up front and we didnt play bad (granted thats just IMO ..LOL)

through necessity surely that those two played there together. and if i remember corectly, we did alright in the first half

Of course mate, not saying we played badly, just that the game itself wasn't as exciting as those victories you alluded to, which I think stems from injuries and the recovery from them. Not just Niko's play. But yeah, after thrashing the barcodes 5-0, I really shouldn't be nitpicking. Kranjcar ftw!
 
See, this is why squad players of his quality are so important, and no fan should want them to leave just so he can play first team football somewhere else.

So pleased he decided he wanted to stay at Spurs.

If Pienaar hadn't gone elsewhere for first team football, Niko would never have got the run that he's getting now.
 
Was strange seeing Pienaar playing so well today, we never saw the best of him at Spurs. Unfortunate for him that we have Bale on the left-hand side.

Funnily enough his two best games for us (Liverpool and AC Milan away) came with him on the left.. Unfortunate for him indeed!
