To me he looked liked he'd overcome his injury problem and just had fitness problems. A proper pre-season should fix that.

Yeah - we've got 5 now with Fredericks and KWP. I think Fredericks might go this summer, as he's in the last year of his contract.

so we have 3 RBs atm, Yedlin looks like he's off on loan so that'll leave Trippier and Walker, which on paper looks like good depth - Dier probably as the emergency option

Fredericks isn't an u21/u18, he's 22(not far off 23) and is coming off the back of a good loan with Boro, though he missed quite a few games through injury. Boro fans all speak very positively about him.

I think he's RB, but he got crowbarred in at LB during the games in Australia and Malaysia. Given his age that's even more impressive, but as someone else said he's a few years off the first team because he needs to still physically develop.

Nope. As Cochise said, he's a right footed right back but he can do a decent job at left back if required.
