I think this will be a crucial season for Mourinho at Spurs.
Are you a deep thinker?

Flip flopping?Def changing my mind on Jose
Flip flopping?
Probably doesn’t help that the atmosphere is almost as bad as during the 2nd season at Wembley.7 points dropped at home in 3 games, going to rue those come the end of the season
Hahah always said I would call them out for being poor and credit when due.
He got the subs horrendously wrong today but I am not getting too upset like other years. If we were we would be calling for him out as we have same points as this time last season.
Yes subs absolutely killed us today. Ndombele going off changed the complexion entirely and Moura had a terrible impact.
Don't really agree about the subs, it was like for like position wise and although you could argue the quality wasn't like for like (winks for Ndombele)...we were 3-0 up with 10 mins left....youd still probably win if you bought 3 players off and sent on noone.
Great point. With 8 men our mentality would have been correct i.e. see the game out, dribble to the edge of the pitch and dive, defend with your lives, no silly fouls etc.we were 3-0 up with 10 mins left....youd still probably win if you bought 3 players off and sent on noone.
The irony is, if ever there's a manager who would never let a 3 goal lead slip with 10mins to go ...it's Jose.Great point. With 8 men our meteorology would have been correct i.e. see the game out, dribble to the edge of the pitch and dive, defend with your lives, no silly fouls etc.
Although the subs didn't help us at all and probably became a fundament for loosing momentum, you can't blame Mourinho for giving away 2 points in the most unprofessional way ever possible.
We have a huge squad full of international players with 2 matches in a week for long parts of the season. He needs to make changes, otherwise our in-form players will be fcked and the bench players become benchwarmers without confidence.
It's the players fault who weren't able to step up, protecting a 3 goal advantage.
I'm talking mainly about Winks, Sissoko, Moura. Partly about Aurier and Sanchez, who can play solidly for long spells of the game, but in the end come with a brainfart. Inability to give everything on the pitch, tracking back as hell dogs (at least while playing on fresh legs), inability to be calm and confident on the ball nullify everything players like Kane, Son, PEH, Lamela, Reg contribute to the game. Kane and Son don't deserve such sh*t while being on form of their lives and breaking all the records. Son looked absolutely devastated while being interviewed after the game.
I think Mourinho should have a strong conversation about last game both with the hole squad and in private with some personalities.
Without taking in account our poor games against Everton and Plovdiv at the start of the season, we look amazingly well in attacking third (even more lethal than during best periods of time under Poch as Mourinho changed the style of ball delivery and Kane's role in the team) but our defensive organisation destroys everything. We were much more stable under Poch and there were lots of matches where we protected successfully a one-goal lead in more difficult circumstances. We very rarely conceded early or late in the game.
The situation is very sad and I'm not sure we can clear it with the defensive players we have (mainly I talk about centrebacks and defensive midfielders). Hopefully Joe Rodon will have some sort of positive impact.
The season can become a russian roulette: in one game we'll be able to destroy any team and hold the score, in the next we'll commit suicide while destroying another one, in the third we'll need to cope with the injuries/absences of our in-form players and look absolutely dull because bench players wouldn't step up.
