I wonder if that might spurs England to get in touch with some promises asap. He doesnt really want to George Best his international career if he's eligible for both

I don't think friendlies count but it stillshows his thinking. I wish him luck.

If he were with England he would likely miss games when not selected. Playing for a smaller nation he will always get selected. Not so good for us.

If we can ship out Maddison we will be no worse off. He might take a few months to find his feet like Bergval did but I would sell Maddison and get him off the wage bill.

Who would buy him might be the issue. Kind of hope Saudi Sportswashing Machine or someone.

Same here. I know some will disagree but for me he is what i call a highlight player but generally flatters to decieve on most occasions.

Think the issue with moving Maddison out is we simply can't afford to replace him with another youngster.

We will need to evaluate Donley, Phillips, Vuskovich, Yang, Moore at minimum to add to a side that already has too many players with 3 or less seasons in PL

So do you sell and buy another senior player that could block a path, or do you keep and if the youngsters can replace him in more games, then at least you have that senior head if/when needed.
