Jamie Donley

how is he with his right foot?

He's good on it, doesn't have to go one way or stop and put ball on his left, he has enough nous to show his left to defenders and go right and deliver with pace and accuracy. I've not seen him since last season and would say he's needs to work on his pace. It maybe his skill at age level bought him all the time he needed, it's taken him a bit of time to be a regular starter at the O's and he may have worked on that.

Whats his best position? I know he seems to have been played everywhere in the last year

Kane didn't have a lot of pace but found success with being able score from wither foot.

I think naturally left footed strikers have an edge though. Like it is in boxing.

His weighting of the pass is something we are lacking in the first 11, there's only really Porro who can do it and that's usually over a much longer distance. Great to see that Donkey has that within him.

It's a left footed pass as well. We don't see many of them in the middle of the park in our first team.

The lad is mustard. He can contribute as much as Moore. Get him and Devine back and throw them in.

Perhaps better for their development to stay the full season on loan and then reevaluate in the summer. Big step up too.

But if we can't get reinforcements in the door in the transfer market recalling a couple of the loan players like Donley and Devine could be useful.
