James Maddison

I think he gets at least half an hour next weekend (circumstances permitting), big boost to have him on the bench. No way we'd be where we are if he'd even played half the games this season.

It's an Italian thing. They oftern have an injured but influential player on the bench for morale. It's not neccessarily a sign that he's anywhere near ready.

Guess that should be amended to “another season” 😢

Hopefully that overhaul of our medical department (which Munn recommended) shall actually take place this summer and we’ll finally get to see Maddison linking up with Simons, Kulusevski, Kudus and Odobert before the end of 2026/27 season 🤞
 
Even though he’s weeks away from being match sharp Maddison was a cut above the rest of our lacklustre attackers during his cameo, hopefully we’ll sign another creative player this summer so he’s not burdened with being our sole creative outlet next season until Simons and Kulusevski return from their lengthy lay-offs.

So is going to be fined or even banned for saying the below

For clarity, the small tiny touch on the ball to change direction came from the outside of my right foot and not the defender
I told the ref that but the check was over in about 20 seconds
Officials are petrified to make decisions on the pitch now because of VAR

The lack of accountability from the refs making massive game/season changing fudge ups is unreal

All the clubs should get together and say to the PL/FA if this isn't improved we're not going to play
 
Bowen "lashes out" at ref after their game.... and nothing. Maddison makes a small comment on instagram and it's suddenly it's a full blown investigation and believe me when i say they ARE going to ban him for the last two games.

I can't believe some of you still don't believe they want us down :D
