I liked Erik Lamela before it was cool


Lamela's goal against Venezuela in the Copa America today. And he scored with his weaker right foot !

Lamela is in red-hot form for club and country now. Remember, he scored 2 and assisted 4 goals in his last 6 matches for Spurs. Now he has scored 2 goals in 2 matches for Argentina !

Expect a huge bid for him from some clubs ! Already read that Inter Milan wants to bid for him. Someone tell Levy to not to be money-greedy for once !

Jeez, how often do we have to reiterate that Levy never sold a key player that didn't want to leave?? If Lamela wants to leave then yes, Levy will cash in on him. If he wants to stay, no bid will pry him loose.

True. It was a weak shot by Lamela with his weaker right foot but the ball was bouncing off the field which made it difficult for the goalie to save it.

Indeed, it always reminds me of the old saying when fans keep saying that about Levy " there is none so blind as those that can not see"
 
So I believe Lamela has just 2 years left on his contract, is there any news on a possible renewal. It is not Levy's way to allow a major asset go into his last 2 seasons, it is normally sign or sell

Towards the end of last season there was talk that he would sign a new deal once Poch committed himself to the club.

A lot of time has passed since then and still Eriksen hasn't extended.

Also I read somewhere that he would like to experience a few different leagues/ cultures during his footballing career. Maybe over the summer he has decided he would like to have a change of scenery.

Just speculating
