Same. It feels very awkward to me.

I thought when he was asked at the start of the coaches thought he would be any good he’d break the ice with something like ‘no, they thought I was rubbish’ but I guess that wouldn’t make any sense.

It's going to be a sad day for some of us fossils when/if he catches Jimmy but I suspect Greavesie would not have been that bothered.

It still makes me smile to see number one son wearing my 60s replica shirt with the number 8 on the back without him really understanding the significance.
 
Thought Harry came over pretty well on the Fallon interview. Interviews aren’t his strong point but he was more than okay on that. I guess his people are trying to grow his brand in the US.

Rumours linking him to the Dippers over the last couple of days. I’d have thought there’s more chance of Conte calling me up than Harry going up there. Wrong and impossible on so many levels. If nothing else, why would he move his kids to The Third World?

Looks like The Express started it and some other less reputable outlets (I know, I know) jumped on it. Apparently "talks have been held". Doesn't fit their style of play, doesn't fit their transfer strategy, less than zero chance Levy sells.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a football journo. I feel pretty f**king stupid now that I couldn't make it in that industry given that it just involves having two bags - one full of players' names and one full of clubs' names and you just pull one name from each and start a rumour.

Kane's diction has improved over the years. No doubt, something he's worked hard at as he's become more famous and likely to be interviewed.

It's hard to please all people in interview like this. UK viewers will look at is as being a bit bland, but they're not likely to go into too much depth because the broader American audience isn't as aware of Kane as Spurs or football fans are. Networks like NBC do these chats as promotional vehicles for a property they are involved with, in this case, holding Premier League TV rights, a not-insignificant, recently renewed 7 year, $2.7 billion deal.

It also promotes the club. Some us viewers might see spurs on tv and think i remember that kane chap, i'll give it a go. Might get some new fans out of it.

Fallon is terrible and painful. I don’t ever remember him being funny or personable. Also made no mention of Tottenham or Spurs, but Harry did at least. Still wants to be an NFL kicker, maybe he’ll retire from football early to play football…

The season he catches Shearer.That summer I can see it happening. July 2026 is my guess, right after the World Cup....in America.

He will be 33, might get a couple of seasons in the NFL

Often been talk of him wanting to try his luck as a kicker in the NFL. Can't see it happening but perhaps that is part of the strategy.
