So much for this, even now, two days after being nominated for both player of the year and young player of the year.

Shame on us.
Wouldn't argue that Hazard is the more skillful, neither that he has done it for the Champions elect, but what Harry has achieved in coming from nowhere is nothing short of phenomenal, so for that reason alone the main prize really ought to go to him.

But we all know it won't.

I was thinking that Hazard would get the Senior award and Kane the Young Player. However, noticing a lot of the English lads have voted for him so could sway in his favour.

Well done Kane! Loving the composure and confidence he has in that situation. Not easy as he's being put under pressure, but he just carries the ball brilliantly and calmly places it in the corner like it was a training exercise.

Best overall game from him in a couple of weeks too. A lot of good touches, strong in duels, some nice passes too.

Harry Kane! He's one of our own!

How good is this guy? Immense. 20 league goals. That is just fantastic. And to think he did not start in the first 10 or so league games, and there's still 5 more games to go! Real Madrid will come knocking sooner rather than later ...

Very good hold up play today. Took his goal brilliantly. Not as easy as he made it look as he had to run for a fair distance with the ball. The touches on the ball needed to be perfect so that he could keep his speed up and not get caught. And a great finish at the end of it.

That's the key, he had to do it all, hold the run to wait for the pass, make the sprint at the right angle to create his chance, then think about where he wanted to place it, then execute ..

That type of goal is what makes me believe he can be more than a one season wonder ..

This. Kane seems to be pretty switched on, in that he makes the right decisions. Very different to instinct strikers like Defoe and Keane. How many times have I seen Keane fluff up exactly the same type of chance?

Fingers crossed...

Yep, and lets be clear, Keane (despite the brick he got on this board) was a very good striker

Quite. I never slated Keano - he could magic a goal up from nowhere, and often did! Just that, in the same way that Kane can't juggle the ball past three defenders then 'meg the 'keeper (yet!), Keane was not the strongest in 1-on-1 situations.

It's scary how much we rely his goals.
We would be last place on 25 points we you took all Kane's goals out.
When we were a one man team relying on Bale, we still would have been midtable without Bale's goals.
