Levy I love you and nearly all(not jol) is forgotten.
I hope that is pound not euro.
Di Marzio will have meant Euros.
But whether his information about the financial details of the deal is accurate.....that's another matter.

This Di Marzio chap is quite reliable isn't he?
Yep, he's well connected. I think he called Lamela to us first two years ago?
I hope this Lamela rumour is hogwash - how reliable has DiMarzio been in the last year regarding us?
If we are goung to loan or sell him, we can wait until January if he hasn't performed by then. Long season and he may come good. Unlike Soldado he still has many years ahead of him and a bad start this season doesn't automatically mean he'll ALWAYS be ****.
I don't know. Part of me wants to keep Lamela, another part thinks it could be wise to just cash in. His confidence looks shot. Nothing is going right for him, and haven't for a very long time. It seems to be going the way of Soldado. Can't seem to shake the pressure of having to live up to the price tag. It sounds stupid, but I'm pretty sure he'd be a lot better for us if he'd only cost £5M or so.
Why's everyone so excited at prospect
Of lamela leaving? He's been awful but we won't buy anyone to replace him. Rather keep
Him For numbers alone
If you are right and it is simply a question of numbers, I'd rather make room for Pritchard, Alli and Onomah than keep an "awful" player.
...and if those players "flop" in their first years would you then start blaming Levy for just "being cheap and relying on kids who are clearly not ready yet"?
In fact, after two years and they still don't perform, would you want them sold too?
Here's the original article in case anyone reads Italian;

You misunderstand me.
I was replying to WestBerkshire's specific point that he would rather keep what he considers to be an "awful" player to make up the numbers than sell him and not replace him.
My response was to West Berkshire's hypothetical scenario. If there was a player at Spurs who I considered to be "awful", I wouldn't want to keep him to "make up the numbers". I'd rather get him off the wage bill and give more opportunity to young, up and coming players who I believed would contribute more to the team.
Lamela will not be sold within the next 48 hrs.
