I just had a missed call. Listened tonthe voicemail and it was Gary Mabbutt! Referred to me by name, asked how Australia was treating me and said he would call back to have a chat ablut Spurs.....

Great man, for those who have not read his book " Against All Odds" i would recommend you do. Tells his story and how hard it was during his time as a player because of his diabetes.

i would imagine that most Spurs fans would have read this book. however if you have not its a great story nad shows the dedication that enabled Mabbut to become the player he was. There is a chapter in there that explains what he had to face on a daily basis because of illness. He was not at training and s ome players went to his house and found him on his kitchen floor.
