If these quotes are true and are from today/yesterday, then they are disgraceful but also interesting.
It means nothing is happening basically are Madrid are starting to lose their cool.
But what about the partnership? Surely Levy is going to have to shout at them a bit.

Don't think this is tapping up to be fair. These are public quotes in the press and don't really mean anything. Tapping up would be direct contact with Bale by RM without permission of Spurs which I don't think there's any evidence of.

Its just generally a poor way for a club to behave......... they dont need to tap up once they get their wish.......player wants to leave makes it difficult and gives them the advantage in negotiations.
Madrid are just the biggest bully's in the playground who are not used to hearing the word no.
In two years time some other player will be the hot new thing and because bale doesnt manage to outscore messi or something he will be labelled a failure by delusional half-wit fans (like myself).......he will be chewed up and spat out by this so called wonderful club. The name real madrid means something to me but the people working behind the name seem to have zero class. This partnership is a joke!!!!!!!! in what partnership would someone be happy with the other behaving like this?
It was strange with Harry I appreciated knowing what was going on to an extent and whether tabloid rumours were garbage or not but I found his talking of other clubs players made me feel a little uncomfortable. Bottom line AVB is more proffesional and while we have zero clues as to whats actually going on it looks like we are going about our business in the correct way and when we do land some signings it will feel more special.....like opening presents without sneak looking at them first.

Depends what you mean by tapping up. I don't think they've done anything that violates the regulations, so in that respect it's not tapping up.
If you're just saying that they're trying to unsettle Bale to make a transfer more likely that could obviously be the case. Although I don't think it will have much of an effect, it's not like Bale will wake up reading the newspaper one day suddenly realizing that he's a fantastic footballer and that Real Madrid wants to sign him. I'm guessing he's picked up on both those by now.

Gareth Bale could stand to make up to £3m a year if he successfully trademarks his now famous goal celebration gesture.
Tottenham's star man has filed an application to the Intellectual Property Office to trademark a logo copying his gesture of a number 11, his shirt number, inside a heart.
Bale first showcased his 'Eleven of Hearts' celebration in 2010 for childhood sweetheart Emma Rhys-Jones with whom he had a daughter last year.
An independent tribunal will decide in the next two months whether he can trademark the logo.
Director of sports marketing agency brandRapport Nigel Currie said: "The possibilities are huge for Gareth Bale. Once he has that right he can cash in on it and become a more well-known player.
"A third of his overall income could be made from his image rights, potentially up to £3million a year."
Bale has applied to trademark the logo for use on headgear, footwear, jewellery and clothing as well as various leather goods including travelling bags and umbrellas.
The 23-year-old, who scored 31 goals for club and country last season, will follow in the footsteps of David Beckham who has also cashed in on his image rights.
Currie added: "Beckham does various things for various brands, but having this logo gives you the opportunity to use it as the brand image.
"It can appear on any sort of product he wants, so it has massive potential.
"Once you have got something that is readily identifiable with the person and has the potential to be seen by millions every time he scores a goal, then it becomes more and more recognisable globally."

NOT ITK from me, but I read that the club are considering reporting Madrid and PSG as well as naming agents and journos they consider complicit in the tapping up. We're not afraid just tinkled off. PSG are a second tier club and always will be however much money they have...
