Footballers that are Spurs-fans?

Roberts moved to Reading in January as Blackburn couldn't afford to play him due to some clauses in his contract. Why didn't we get in there? (slightly tongue in cheek)

Spurs were Robbie's boyhood club, don't you know.

Along with Liverpool, Celtic, LA Galaxy and Aston Villa.

Roy Keane definitely was a Spurs fan, though.

Freddy Adu, Thomas Brolin, Michael Bridges, Chris Eagles, Henrik Larsson, Matt Le Tissier, Des Walker

Teddy Sheringham
Jamie O'Hara
Glenn Hoddle
Michael Thomas
Kerry Dixon
Matt Le Tissier
Luke Young
Paul Robinson (left back not keeper)
Tim Sherwood (though some debate as to whether he was a gooner)

Eidur Gudjohnsen, Teemu Tainio and Edgar Davids of the ones that have played for us in recent times.
Clarence Seedorf is one of many dutch of his generation that supported Spurs.
John Arne Riise.

Roy Keane definitely was a Spurs fan, though.

As was Vinnie Jones

I think you could say they were all the best in the world at one time.

True, but Lev Yashin's special in my eyes, mainly because a)I play as a goalkeeper, and he made it look ludicrously easy, b) his pre-match routine was 'to have a smoke to calm your nerves, then toss back a strong drink to tone your muscles', c)he spent his entire career with Dynamo Moscow, and d)he was one of the most inspiring players to have ever played the game, and went on to be recognized as one of the most good-natured and sportsmanlike individuals ever to grace football's biggest stages.

Still wasn't as good as Pat Jennings, mind. :)
