Football Trivia Question of the Day

I guess the starting point is looking at the three promoted teams and trying to find a link. Clearly at least 2 of Cardiff, Crystal Palace and Hull have something in common...could be all three, depending on whether one of the relegated clubs also had this one thing in common.
What that thing in common is??

No clues, that they have red on their kit?
