Fixture & Ticket News 2024/25

They said that
They also told my friend in the fan club the exchange was being abused by people on cup guarantees
That is easy to do as the club send the cup ticket via email, which you can add to your Apple/Android wallet. It should add to your current access wallet app instead as per league fixtures, otherwise it can be sent to anyone, with little chance of being checked on entry.

They talked about bringing in dynamic QR codes
That’s a game changer too

If you're a ST holder on the cup scheme you just use your wallet app as you would any other home game. I've never had to add a cup game to my wallet

I got two tickets for myself and mate (both of us ST holders, but not on Cup scheme) for the Utd QF. He didn't want to go and transferred his to my Mrs via CRN. We were just emailed the tickets, so that's something that could be easily fixed by the club. Plus if I hadn't transferred the ticket to her legitimately, she could have just used his ticket and he'd have got the points.

Having said that, under the proposed new scheme, I'd have to buy her a membership for one game.

If you stay in your seat

Don't think you have the option to switch seats via the automatic cup scheme. You just get an email confirming payment has been taken and the ticket will be loaded on to your wallet.

I think this new scheme i.e. Members only, may well lead to fewer bums on seats, especially if our form continues in this way. You just need to look at how many games aren't selling out and ST holders not getting their tickets sold on the exchange anyway.

Agreed - I think the members only thing is a direct response to the complaints about away fans in the home end not sure there's a better way to achieve that. I just can't fathom the cup scheme change.

Actually, ours might have been emailed because we are North Stand and can't get our usual seats for some Cup games. We got our pick of the ground in a priority window, but still something the club could fix, rather than email.

People on the cup scheme or people not on the scheme applying game by game? I feel like we're talking at cross purposes here, I'm specifically talking about the automatic scheme
Automatic scheme
Fans complained they couldn’t move seats
I’m 90% sure they gave people the option in the end
I’m not on the auto scheme and never sit in my seat for the cup games

Just a wee anecdote, where there's a will and all that. I got chatting to a bloke on the train down from Stansted in the last season at the old Lane. Mid sixties, black hack driver, originally from Tottenham, moved out to Bishop's Stortford. He could have acted in a Guy Ritchie movie with ease. He told me that he had never had a Season ticket, never went online to buy tickets, just got them in the pub from his mates prior to games, including cup finals, etc.
Connections are everything. :D
Wonder how he manages it now, but I'm sure he does!

It’s still going on. There were people at the game in Holland last week who didn’t even have 200 loyalty points. Let alone the required 370 points.

There were also some complaining they could by collect the tickets as their ID didn’t match up with the name on the ticket
On twitter they claimed there were about a 100 who didn’t get in
