That's the problem with 42k season tickets, when at least 10k of those ST holders are located outside the UK. Those will only attend the big games and occasionally other games.
 
Anyone think the price of tickets for City game, plus the news that we may be without Harry and Dele and may rest others, has perhaps swayed people to cash in on their Hudds ticket? Maybe they've been to both Palace and City and now need a breather?

Hope not. But it's a possibility for some I'm sure.

I've booked flights for me and my son for the West Ham game (ballsy move given that I don't have tickets and I have to convince his mother who doesn't want him to go).

Plan A is I'm hoping to beat the Circle of Doom on Monday or Tuesday.
Plan B is I'm hoping to pick up a couple of tickets on the Exchange in the hope they come available like the Huddersfield ones have.
Plan C is a couple of Premium tickets. I'm hoping to leave that last minute (given the price) in the hope they're still available.

The Huddersfield game has given me hope but I'd imagine demand will be a lot bigger for West Ham.

Which is all fine, and means that members can get tickets pretty much when they want if they are prepard to put in the exchange time. But getting two tickets, next to each other, will always be impossible. Unless everyone you know has a membership. Bloody Levy.
 
Finally got onto the ticket exchange, got a ticket for Brighton.

Makes sense that it should be Brighton for me because that is where I now live(on outskirts) will be travelling up with two Brighton fans and be sitting on my own for the game. So will probably have the drinks outside the stadium, still excited to finally get there.

There were 2 seats I saw for the game tomorrow.

I guess there are no price reductions now as there used to be with stubhub. Makes sense, but on the other hand, an empty seat is a waste and one fan could get something back rather than nothing and another could get a chance to see Spurs, if they can’t afford the full 60 odd quid.

But on the flip side there's no profiteering on tickets either. You could be right though, if a fan is willing to accept less than surely that should be their prerogative.

Might as well, the club will still get their £7.50.

I know there are a few teething problems BUT the ticketing system should end up pretty seamless with little human input from the club. Deactivate one card..load onto the buyers card or fire off an e-ticket if option clicked. (Plus loading onto the app as a back up).

The enormous amount of STs (all paying high rates already) not only give funds to the club upfront but also give the opportunity for the club to earn another £7.50 per ticket for basically doing nothing.

I know there are way over 1000 in Norway alone. I don't have an exact figure, for the rest of them, but I don't think it's far off 10k

Me neither.

Although a chap who said he'd come from Australia was interviewed pre-Palace game. Said he had a season ticket and times his visits to the UK to take in Spurs' big games to fit in with managing a business that's based in the UK or something like that. Wasn't bothered about missing other games.

Has this number been released somewhere or is this based on guesswork doing the rounds on Facebook? The Facebook group for Norwegian season ticket holders has 96 members. That is not an official figure, of course, but I think that more than 10 % of the Norwegian STHs would join that group.

As a Norwegian STH myself, I will not be able to attend all the games, but will attend as many as I can. After eleven years on the waiting list, and keeping a season ticket for one year at Wembley with no official system for selling on tickets, I do not feel especially guilty about paying my way out of the wheel of doom.

I also find it a bit funny that the same people who are complaining that they can't get a ticket as a member on the WOD, are also complaining that season ticket holders are reselling their tickets on the exchange, giving them the opportunity to actually get a ticket (not necessarily seen this on glory-glory).
 
Out of interest is there a limit on the amount of games season ticket holders can put on the exchange in one season?

Nope. The only restriction seems to be that you can only put your ticket on the exchange when a game has sold out. No sellout, no sell on.
 
Perhaps some of you members should get yourselves added to our foreign posters ST network list - abling them to gift/sell you tickets for the games they can't make...
