Fixture & Ticket News 2018/19

2nd Dec. Cheslea v Fulham/NLD and Merseyside Derby.

Yes, pretty sure that was a random selection by a computer. A Sky w@nkfest if ever I saw it 'Sunday is Derby Day'

So what if the computer is instructed to have more than one derby some weekends? Why is that a problem.

A few thousand maybe but 30k more than vs the League Champions? Was restricted sale remember.

You only had to be on the club's database I think. There will have been many who enjoyed to opportunity to experience Wembley and PL football last season who aren't coming back, especially not on a Monday or against rubbish opposition like Cardiff .

It’s still half term as well in some areas.
Might add to the overall impact if usual attendees have half term leave booked.

There are thousands of people coming over from abroad each weekend to watch PL. Monday night does not fit for most of them.

People have literally had their fill of Wembley and the logisitics of it all
Repeat, 80k vs Liverpool and 82k for an evening game vs Barca just 3 weeks ago says otherwise. Pretty sure the gate would have been similar for the City game had it been on a Sat afternoon with all of Wembley available.

Has to be some other explanation Imo.

Is there not a limit to the number of times Wembley can be used at capacity?
Something to do with local residents

Re:
Yes, but the City game is not restricted. Cardiff game was with restricted capacity.
If so, problem solved! Because if the whole of Wembley is available then it's hardly surprising that the City game is not yet sold-out. Can only assume that 'George Oddysseus,' 'THST' and others commenting in that twitter announcement posted by Denmarkspur earlier were taking 'restricted sale' to mean 'restricted capacity.'

It was their suggestions the club could not even sell out half of Wembley for a game against the League Champions that seemed so puzzling.
