It would be like me plugging my android into an ipad, and then moaning that the web favorites and dropbox files don't synch

Why? Surely Android's main market would be the PC following mass and their most common mail interface namely Exchange

Surely the genui who designed it allowed for customers to require MS Outlook / Exchange sync capability. We're not really pushing the envelope with that one, are we

Yes, but your IT knowledge is letting you down

You don't synch with outlook

It is a CLIENT

not a Server of information too other devices...

Outlook is like a virtual device

Blackberry is a physical device

As are androids, iphones, tablets etc

Neither talk to each other

Instead they get their data from the same place...a SERVER

We just need to find out which one she is using

Exchange yes

Outlook no

Layman

Outlook speaks French
Black Berry speaks Spanish
Iphone d speaks German
Android speaks English

Exchange is multi lingual
As is gmail

If your tablet speaks Afrikaans, which would you connect it to?

I have zero knowldge of android gui - where do you find active sync and would that also sync her calendars?

I dont speak Afrikaans at all

LOL, or just do the gmail thing. It works, just sync outlook with Gmail then sync androis with Gmail. simples.

Ok - will investigate the server and report back.

But bottom line remains - BBerry's calendar cannot sync directly to the Korean tablet?

BBerry's calendar cannot sync to BBerry's OWN tablet

BBerry's calendar's SERVER will sync to BBerry's OWN tablet

BBerry's calendar's SERVER might sync to the Korean tablet (if it's Microsoft Exchange it definitely will)

If it's BBerry's enteprise server (BES), then I really don't have an idea (their tech is very confusing)

Oh and I may as well bite. ALL tablet are made in the far east, including the iPad.

Personally, I'd prefer Korean tech over Chinese tech any day.

We are trying to do it without any additional software

That's not what the op asked.
Are there any known solutions to the above problems other than throwing the thing away and switching to iOS?
Is he on dial up or something, it's 4.41Mb, or is this some sort of test to see how fudging complicated you can make a simple fudging task? ****s. :)
