FA Cup SF Ticket Details

I've put my application in, but don't stand much hope of getting owt...

Which pubs around N17 will be best to watch it on the day...? Brickies? C&H... haven't tried watching a Cup semi-final there before, anyone got some past 'glory-stories' of why it would be a decent idea!

ST holders should get ticket priority. No question.

However we all know plenty of ST holders who rarely if ever go to games for various reasons but make sure they retain their tickets.

They will all be at the semi final and final if we get there of course.

I wanted a season off but didn't want to give up my ticket so passed it on for the season, I gave the guy who paid for my ticket all the benefits of it which includes first choice for the matches not included on the ticket which includes the semi and the final if we make it, so here's one ST holder who isn't cherry picking their games.

Site down for 'essential' maintainance?

Ps Gordy I am talking about STs that havent been for years or even live abroad permanently.

Just went through the process, put my card details in and was awaiting the little window that comes up with your password for your card - error has occured, return to ticket hub.

They better have this sorted with the window for applying so small, I bet the phoneline is jammed up all day too.

Still down "and will be for several hours as maintenance people don't start until 8 am" according to Pete on the phone at 5:30 am. Excellent timing=D>

The words "In, up, brewery and tinkle" spring to mind.

Passing on this. fudge semi finals at Wembley. Another ticket freed up for the members.

This is kind of how I feel (although I'd follow Spurs anywhere and I'd still go), but the semi at Wembley is really brick, the 1 and only redeeming factor is that 30k+ fans get to see the game, whereas it would be more like 20k+ at other grounds. Every other factor is against a semi at Wembley.

We could easily have played this game at the Emirates, 25k+ each club, different ground, different atmosphere, exciting and makes the Wembley final for whoever get's there that much more special. Same with Liverpool v Everton, fill out Old Trafford and then a trip to Wembley for the winner.

Money really is fudging up the attending fans experience of this game IMO.

Well done for sticking to your convictions. I'll complain about stuff like the semi-finals being at Wembley but I haven't got the balls to actually turn down a ticket if offered.

It's not really convictions as much as the fact that I just don't think I'll enjoy it. The semi against Portsmouth was the most depressing experience I've ever had following Spurs (including all the embarassing defeats against Arsenal!).

I would definitely have gone to somewhere like Villa Park for this match. Wembley should be for finals only.

Re semis shouldn't be at Wembley - I sympathise with the feeling but the trouble is that was part of the model for funding the rebuilding of Wembley. If the semis weren't at Wembley, there might not be a Wembley stadium to hold the final at.

Re loyalty points - under the current arrangement there is a danger that someone who goes to say 20% of games would be below the LP cut-off for all our recent finals and semis while someone attending say 30% would be above the cut-off for all of them. I think the system could be improved if you had to use up some LPs in order to get a ticket for the most popular matches.

Personally I think they should have tried to build a more modest stadium, which cost less and therefore wasn't reliant on a model that requires semi finals to be played there.

Not a bad shout. LP schemes are tricky as there's no universally accepted definition of what is means to be a loyal supporter.

That's because it was the 1st one, it was a novelty and anyone who attended the final will tell you it took the shine off slightly. We could have beaten Arsenal 3-1 at plough lane and it would have been a great day !
