You have a warped sense of humour going by your first two sentences, it's an impressive level of distaste and you know what you're doing by sharing it.

They were human beings as well as Liverpool fans, you can be both simultaneously but you appear to be neither.

If it's a well formed joke with some wit and craft going some way to subvert pre conceived notions then I agree absolutely, but that's not what we're talking about here.

Try your brand of comedy at an open mic in Liverpool, I'm not condoning violence but the aftermath would probably be humorous, it's all hypothetical as the required bravery isn't there of course.

@scaramanga Complimentary food for thought, you imply that Liverpool talk about their loss of human life too much yet you've shared a picture of a joke aimed at that tragedy found at a final that has absolutely nothing to do with Liverpool.

Do you see the irony considering your comment? Too busy jerking off over the memory of the loss of working class northern life no doubt.

Apparently I'm the wum on here according to the resident devient / abuser of players on here but being triggered by the brick that gets posted in this place doesn't make me a bad poster / person even if I can get over emotional about stuff at times, it actually helps keep people in check even if it's a fruitless responsibility (it's cute you're still watching @Danishfurniturelover , brave to suggest I don't have a life with <20k posts on here but accurate nonetheless!)

Getting triggered appears to be a generational issue. Thicker skin and an ability to laugh at anything will serve you well in life.

I always disliked listening to football on radio, but the standard of commenting has fallen through the floor for decades, they are not commentaries on what is happening on the field just a bloke airing his opinion on any subject he likes which may have something to do with the match they are at.

You forgot to answer the question and chose to answer you own imagined one numbnuts, do you see the irony (about you moaning about Liverpool being overly dramatic about their losses but you sharing something about it in an unrelated fa cup final)? Can you comprehend it? I can spell it out for you if you'd like in a much more detailed post, I'd be happy to do it if you're actually stupid enough to not get my original point but for now....

Being "triggered" was what it took to enforce changes such as slavery being abolished or things like maternity leave or women's rights or LGBTQ rights or holiday pay or a hundred other similar advances. It isn't a generational issue at all, it's a continuation of fighting the good fight as it needs to be done considering the evil continuously done by our species if not kept in check.

Nothing to laugh about from what you posted, as always, smug one liners that bare no relevance to what I've posted speak volumes. The avoidance is hilarious/ astounding in equal measures, it's like a Jeremy Clarkson / Boris Johnson apology, completely missing the point but still being a complete and utter clam.

What you posted isn't comedy. It's hatred, if the dream is to scare off conscientious posters from this place to make it an acceptable hive of hate speech kindly let me know and I'll find somewhere more suitable.

No doubt you're on Priti Patel's side but it's actually good to care about important things even if it doesn't directly affect you. You might as well be a Charles dingdongens villain and in a sense I envy your lack of shame but you're a total clam, in a much worse way than I am.

Can I simultaneously think that it is not necessarily illegal and also not condone violence but also think you absolutely deserve to get your head caved in for wearing such a garment?

If someone wore a t shirt saying they hoped more Jews had died during the Holocaust I'd say that's an arrestable offence. Whilst it's not exactly the same I hope you can see the similarities to at least pose the question, it's an unacceptable / inexplicable level of hatred.

I like the bravery test suggested previously by myself in discussion with Scara, it's one thing to wear it at a game in London that Liverpool FC aren't involved in but it'd take cajones to wear it in Toxteth. I'm guessing certain folks aren't dumb enough to take the chance and will remain close to their keyboards instead.

TL: DR, so I'll answer the first part.

No irony whatsoever. It's the constant bleating about it all the fudging time (and ruining standing at matches, etc) that requires and deserves the ridicule. Had they had the very normal capacity to grieve internally, there would never have been anything to ridicule them for.

You can add loss of a stiff upper lip to signs of a generation of weak character.
