FA Cup 2016/17

Well done on dropping them a line.

But WALOB in that reply. The gap between the teams and the atmosphere????

And they really thought there would be an upset? Must be smacked off their t#ts

I really liked the bit about mixing up their coverage of the brick sides. No deviating from showing the richest clubs playing B-sides.

Of the three examples they gave in that reply, one was from the first round, and one from the second round. So not as if they had to pick a big team to ignore.

That's a decent draw for us. Fulham are strong at home though. I think we need to play a stronger team than we did against Wycombe.

We also probably got the toughest draw of the top teams. Savage had a good look down in the bowl before drawing Arsenal.

Artificial pitch for the artificial north Londoners

Arsenal get Sutton. What a surprise. Can't complain about our draw though. Should be a proper game where we field at least 6-7 regulars and play more cohesively.

All 8 PL sides kept apart.....what are the chances of that happening.
I recall the exact same thing happened in the Norwegian cup a couple of years ago. Eight teams from the top division drew eight teams from the lower leagues. So either the odds aren't that tall, or they just cheat. I certainly don't trust any draws being done the right way. There are too many strange things happening.

I refer to my post yesterday. Too much coincidence for me there are no all-PL ties.

All the big 5 left got drawn away, could have been worse for us. Although Fulham away is beginning to be a bit of a regulation draw now 2007,2010,2011

  • Burnley v Lincoln,
  • Fulham v Tottenham
  • Blackburn v Man Utd,
  • Sutton v Arsenal
  • Middlesbrough v Oxford,
  • Wolves v Chelsea
  • Huddersfield v Emirates Marketing Project,
  • Milwall v Derby/Leicester

City's away to Huddersfield, who are going along nicely in fifth in serie b. Molyneux will be heaving with Chelsea coming in. After a win at Anfield, Wolves will be up for it.

You'd imagine Arsenal will give Sutton a proper dingdonging. It's being played on a nice, clean, level plastic pitch, when this sort of draw really calls for a clumpy Clydesdale pasture.

Some 'nice' draws to be had for a home tie should we get it. Personally I would fancy Millwall/Blackburn at home for a 'winnable' tie if I can say that after Saturday or an away tie against Fulham. If we are going to get any of the other big hitters then City would be my choice, home or away.

Hope Sutton and Lincoln draw each other so at least one of the non league sides can make it to the quarter finals.

Well guessed sir
