Southgate does it again.

That's a huge result.

Switzerland are a much better team than England, but Southgate found a way.

He might be a genius, because its not amazing, its brick, its got holes all over the place.

England didn't deserve to get out of the group.

His changes keep working.
 
Another semi final for "clueless" Southgate.

To be fair the first half wasn't eye-gougingly bad and we defended well for the most part. Shaw coming back in but seemed to be playing at LCB, which worked. Thought Tony could have come on earlier, he won as many headers as Kane did all game. I appreciate sometimes it's conserving energy but he is moving at a snail's pace and not creating any chances.
 
Netherlands vs Turkey up next. Hoping it will be an open game. Turkey shouldn't be good enough to win, but we'll see.

Kane being subbed shortly before the penalty shoot outs, and the youngsters doing the business there, had a bit of an end of an era vibe to it.
