ok Wales, a high point yes, but don't celebrate too much, this is par when you have Bale in your team
 
Great finishing by CR7, wouldn't mind him in a Spurs side. I'm sure some of us would whine he's a whinging moaner, but he's also a class player with an extremely hard work ethic. That Bale fella isn't too bad neither !

The Boyos put up a good fight, they missed Ramsey and Davies I felt though. More Ramsey, who would've been a great attacking threat with his assists and goals. He is, unfortunately, a quality scum player.

On to the next, Allex les Bleus !

Bale was Ok in the first half I thought, but tried to single handedly bring Wales back into it by himself in the 2nd when they went behind. He didn't really trust his teammates IMO which is a shame.
Ronaldo was poor throughout besides the headed finish.

Poor quality match overall.

It was a poor match i agree, but Bale was nothing like the player he was for us or Madrid and to be honest he has disappointed me.
 
I think Bale trusted him teammates too much at times, on a few occasions the ball came to him on the edge of the box and he laid it off or tried to play them in when he could have attempted to make space and get a shot off.

He was poor but he probably felt the weight of a nation on him.

His calibration was off a bit tonight as well, there were a few times he played passes too far in front of someone, although in each case you just know Marcelo would have got there.

He also had a number of inadvisable shots from a very very long way out. He tried to dribble through half the Portuguese team on occasion including one time from his own defense (and nearly paid for it). He came very deep a lot even behind his own defenders sometimes. He also took every free kick even though he is probably one of their best headers. Took too much on IMO in the 2nd half especially.
 
How the fudge have Portugal made the final? Apart from one game they have been complete brick. Only just made it out of their group. Hope they get smashed.
 
Very hurly-burly, with France having huge weight of expectation - very good going forward, suspect at CD.

yeah, what's up with that ? Muller is normally such a goal machine. I bet he goes and scores now.
