Euro 2016 Group E - Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Sweden

Belgium really should've been a great side with that squad. And when they click, they look very frightening. Far too inconsistent though.

Why isn't Dembele playing, by the way? Had a much, much better season than Hazard, for instance.
 
Considering they have a wealth of talent to choose from plus many of them have been around the national team from a young age, I have to ask what have Belgium been doing on the training pitch...tactically, shape , system etc is so so lacking.

Are they one of these teams that just think 'we're full of good players....it will just happen'? without having to work at it.
 
Italians looking very solid at the back, as usual. Good up front too, when they commit. Somehow they always turn it on when it matters. Gotta admire that ability.

The manager needs to answer so many questions - Belgium have be been coached from the LVG book of excellence
 
I'd argue that's a red for pulling the player down like that AND kickibg the ball into the stands.
