Just one of these guys that say things on x. Some other guys say this. Probably just gonads.

I said it post the last Levy and new CEO interview

No way Levy suddenly went from the guy we know for 25 years (conservative, measured) to "EL win not enough, we need to win PL & CL" without knowing something changed.

Whatever it is, feels like we have access to more investment

Might as well use the hydroponic lights under the South Stand for something.

Twits are saying £130m investment from USA or £300m investment from USA or £450m investment from USA… who knows what is going on?!!!

I think someone else nailed it when they said it's a good time to throw these sorts of rumours around as people will engage given that we're throwing money around and it stacks up - but I don't really see anything out of the ordinary here

Yup. Absolutely. It all comes back to Venkateshum being here because he can affect things/is running some new plays. Make no mistake, there is significant stuff going down...

...what happens in the next two to three months will tell us an awful lot. I think there's going to be some stuff to tell personally. It's not
Nostradamus stuff, the writing is on the wall. They turfed out Munn, Donna Cullen's departure was known to be coming, Vinai would've been a work in progress for months plus he is not the sort who shows up for a paycheck. I think there's still stuff going on. We'll see how it all shakes out money-wise, but I definitely think we are entering a new era and way of operation. If we are also serious about Wharton, and if that happens, we would be ticking a lot of boxes...

Yes...this is what I've been hoping. That VV meant a meaningful difference in how we did things. It's not just the money, it's that we are moving aggressive and early for our top targets. We are confident in our position in the market and know we can compete. This is what it takes and I'm glad we are doing it.

There may be some restructuring left to do but unless there's some actual big time investment coming in then any restructure is not going change anything dramatically in terms of what budgets are available. Two or three 50-60m signings doesn't signal a change in approach imv - not when you actually look at our transfer spend over the last few seasons. This is just what we've been building towards.

Aside from the investment stuff (I'd say we should 'watch this space') I think if we sign Kudus, MGW and Wharton in one window -ontop of Tel - without any outgoings being done first (you feel Richie might not be here come August) then it is undeniable that there has been a change in how we're approaching buying players at least.
