ENIC

I feel something might be being lost in translation here, that he knew it was the plan, but that it is a new experience for him.

He's answered the question asked, rather than made a complaint.

No there has to be hidden meanings in there, just ask DubaiSpur and he will tell you excately what he meant.;)

But for a manager of his stature to talk like this after 16 weeks shows a lot about him
And it’s not all good things

Perhaps, but I assure you, his reputation will not suffer at all. Everyone knows he is outspoken about what he needs to turn a side into winners.

Everyone knows he *is* a winner.

Everyone knows Spurs have no interest in paying what it takes to become winners, and never will under ENIC.

So, he can say what ge likes, imo, and walk away tomorrow if he wants - the only people whose reputation will be ruined are the folks at Tottenham Hotspur. But then, ol' Dan barely has a reputation left apart from being a tight*rse, so not sure if even that will matter.

Curiously enough, a man whose reputation might be improved by Conte pointing out how useless and damaging Levy and Lewis are is actually Mourinho - he said as much, but because he was a c*nt no one listened.

Oh dear . Not really getting the feeling this was a good fit for the club. Another wasted appointment. Rule the Roost pod went over this for a bit. Why’s he here . It’s not like he would not know how our owners operate.

Think the 12m a year we pay him should make him think a little more about his comments about the club as a whole. Not saying he’s wrong but it’s a little surprising talking like that now.

If they were 4 important players then why didn't he use them? Why didn't he make it clear that he wanted to keep them?

A lot of his comments recently are poor and all about him. Instead of trying to build up the confidence of the team his comments are all negative and will do the opposite.

The bit he is calling Levy out on is the 'we only brought in two' bit.

We brought in two mediocre castaways from Juventus for cheap on deadline day after sleeping for 31 days doing absolutely nothing to help a manager who begged for signings from Day 1, who clearly and repeated stressed that this team was sh*te.

He has a right to feel aggrieved about that, and unlike the yes men Levy typically prefers, he isn't afraid of pointing out that Levy has no intention of ever actually building a side that can win things.

Every day, mate, is one day closer to one of our increasingly frustrated line of managers outright saying 'Levy and Lewis are utter c*nts that hold Tottenham Hotspur back.'

And when that happens, I'd wager it's 50:50 that you still argue that they meant differently guv, honest. ;)

Bull, we've spent over 1 billion in the last 10 years on transfers while building a new stadium.
The money spent is not the reason why we've dropped off over the last few years, but hey, don't let facts get in the way of your crusade against Levy.

The money has been very poorly spent . That’s the main issue . It’s old ground does not need re covering.

I would need a soap box ( can i borrow yours?) to do that. I will just reply when folks like you start your agendas against Levy. ( while i am at it i take it you still have your Levy vodoo doll) :D

Levy and Lewis have spent f*ck all. We have spent about 800-900m of the club's own money, while other owners who want their teams to win things have spent hundreds of millions on top of the money the clubs generate themselves, with even Arsenal run by Stan sodding Kroenke investing to back Mikel Arteta while we do fudge all for Conte. No wonder we struggle.

The cheapest c*nt in football is the man at the helm of Spurs, a deadweight who offers nothing and the henchman of a tax exile in the Bahamas who offers even less.

All Levy is for Spurs is a mediocre CEO - not even a real 'owner', per se. And we could hire 50 better from any of the FTSE 100 for half the cost of Levy's wages who would arguably have won us more than one Carling Cup in twenty grinding years.

Conte won't be the last to point out that the club's vision is not to win, not even to try to win - it's to run at zero cost to ENIC.

That's the reputation Levy is building, and thank GHod people in football are finally seeing it, imo.

They aren't two mediocre castaways, Bentancur already looks a decent player. Look at all the great business other teams have done in the January window.
Even Conte said it's a difficult window, but you keep on doing you and carry on with the ENIC/Levy bashing. Oh, well done on tuning the abusive language down a notch.

The clubs money is their money, but will leave it there instead of repeating the same things as elsewhere for the millionth time

Bentacur is the epitome of experienced too
50 ish caps and 200 club games at the age of 24 is very very experienced

There is a reason Juventus let them both go. I've seen them both play for a couple of years now, you are not going to get miracles from either.

Mate, if you're quoting Conte, quote him from this interview here where he explicitly says the club let go of four players and brought in two young punts, which shows that the club's vision isn't to win.

Best thing a manager's ever said at Spurs in the recent past, because at least it's finally some honesty about what the club's priorities are.

Weirdly juve signed inexperienced players
Are they complaining?

And for the millionth time, no one adds the money that clubs generate by themselves to what their owners supposedly spend, except Spurs fans. Everyone else distinguishes between self-generated income and income from the owners, except here where we for some reason like to pretend that Levy and Lewis not actively siphoning *out* money somehow proves they're investing into it.

Either way, point is we've had all these discussions before. But now, Antonio Conte is finally calling Levy out in public in a way that git has deserved for a very long time now, imo.

Hope he keeps at it, and lays out in detail exactly why the club doesn't win - Dan Levy, and Joe Lewis.
