I would rather have him get his nut down and play football.

Talking for the sake of talking which s what Rose seems to be doing holds no water for me and the difference between him and Poch is Poch is obligated to give three interviews a week.

Who says he's not getting his head down and playing football? They are training for a few hours a day, that doesnt stop them from doing whatever they want for the rest of their day.
You think Poch will be consistently playing a guy who isnt focused?
And youre right Poch constantly flirting with leaving Spurs is so much better, or is he obliged to do that during his interviews....

Poch seems to have worked his way through his Cantona like "When seagulls follow the trawler..." moment which is a bonus.

So how comes Davies manages to get on with the job in hand and not have a moan every few months? Eriksen and Toby managed to keep their powder dry despite the contract wrangles?

When I say get your nut down he hardly has a consistent record to shout about, injuries he can be forgiven for I get, but he has hardly been the picture of consistency has he?

Who in the team has been a "picture of consistency"?
Danny is hard working on the pitch and plain-speaking off it! I'll take that every day.

To be honest with you, Id be quite happy if none of them came out in the press.

The difference is, Poch is obliged to and Rose is doing it voluntarily.

I dont really have issue with what Rose has said this time, only really that the whole interview seems needless/unnecessary and Id rather they just didnt bother.

Cant say Im comfortable with a double standard on it though, "its ok for them to speak out if I like them".

'Get your nut down' means work hard,which Rose does - you can debate his performances all you want, there arent many in our side who have been playing great for a while now.

Rose can have a moan or do whatever he likes, every player has a different personality and ways of blowing off steam - Poch loves nothing more than to have a moan in the media, so if the manager is doing it you sure as hell cant complain if the players do.....

When he gets on the pitch

The honesty is invariably "opinion" which he even admitted himself recently.

He came out in the BIG interview about how we handled the league cup saying he did not agree only to then come out when we made the CL final to say he now understood how and why Poch prioritised the way he did. So honesty/opinion, blurred lines if you ask me.

Haha you make him sound like he is Kane fella, fact is he ain't and even Kane has more class than to slag a club that probably in fairness is not living up the standard he has set. And there lies my point.

Just do what you are paid to do, stop undermining the club with your constant crap which you retracted after because you wanted to play in the CL final.

Being serious - I have been a big Danny Rose fan since he was at Sunderland on loan. I just like 'the cut of his jib'. This was confirmed for me in 2012 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/19975032
He has his trails with mental health (disability) which must be hard in the media-driven day and age for all pressesional sportspeople.
Danny for me is refreshing, he dosnt hides and says what he thinks and more importantly 'feels'. It's not always PC, but that appeals to me even more.

I can't stand some who speak out BUT even if I don't like them will defend the right to say it.

Tbh you sound more hung up on his comments than the players or manager considering he continues to be a popular lad in the dressing room and he would no way continuously be selected if he had undermined the club.

He is playing his football to a decent standard, and I cant see any evidence that him giving an open and honest interview now and again is affecting his performances so I have no problem with it. You want to get your knickers in a twist everytime he does one then go for it....

Though I've I have offered to step in at right-back to well, help! I've pumped the tyres up on my wheelchair (well the wife did actually, no @Jon it's not a euphemism for anything). Have heard bugger all from Dan 'the man' I think there may be a lawsuit opportunity here for disability discrimination.
