Extremely impressive performance from him tonight

Not only because of his 2 assists and the fact Holland outplayed Spain, but his overall play was fantastic

Great awareness of when he should go forward and when he needed to be more defensiveminded

His price will rocket based on this game
 
Yeah that performance has added 5-10 mill that's for sure

If people didn't know before about Blind, they will now
 
Stick a winger against Blind and you'll see that he's defensively frail because of his lack of pace.

Spain play everything through the middle.

Still he's good on the ball and his assists yesterday were great.

He is not that slow.....anyway these days how many teams play with wingers? Its all this 4231 bollox where most of the play go thru the middle and any real width comes from the full backs.

teams don't play with wingers? whats that have to do with anything???. fullbacks go forward and when the opposing team press the ball of us he will get caught out of position all day long with zero chance of him tracking back.
against lethargic passive spain anybody would look good. also played in a back 5 where the left centre back was covering his position. in a flat back 4 he would get killed. he basically had a free role last night.
