Cristian Romero

Ha, ha and there were people on here saying he wasn't an unlikable cnut. I bet he wouldn't have been posing with that Malvinas banner if he had to play another season in England. Glad he has gone.

Why wouldn’t he? He has a right to air his views and bias towards what his country believes in. Isn’t that exactly what you are doing?

He’s not saying anything that is not beyond reason

Well, apart from the FACT that he is NOT allowed to make political points in FIFA sanctioned matches, it was pretty classless. He must know that holding that banner was spitting in the eye of the people who have been paying his wages for the last four years. So, I guess it would have been okay for the England players to run on the pitch with a Maggie Thatcher GOTCHA banner with the Belgrano going down too eh? Stupid comment!

No need for that dingdonghead behaviour. I have had enough of this guy.

How did we go from the class of captain Mabbutt to this clown, hopefully the Spanish teach him some humility on Sunday.

Has he gone?

I can't comment on the conflict, I've family that served over there during it but don't knoe enough about the family..I feel like if Argentina had taken control of the Isle of Wight and it was still "theirs", us lot probably wouldn't love it either..

Based on what? Have other players made noises that he’s disruptive?
No. It’s an opinion. Apart from anything else, the bloke fudged off to Argentina to watch another team while his teammates toiled against a relegation (to which his mixed performances, constant injuries and regular suspensions contributed significantly): I hardly think that shows the attitude and behaviour of someone likely to provide peace and harmony in a dressing room.

Spain shows us all that a team can be far greater than the sum of its parts. Ergo, I’d far rather have Danso (for example) in my side than Romero.

Cheerio, Cristian, you’ve been a taco.

Maybe. But it would depend upon us having never properly occupied the Isle of Wight and them having settled it for hundreds of years…!

Anyway, this is a football forum so I shall return to the correct subject now!
