I’m not sure.

According to the Zoe app we haven’t been far off that of late. Lots of people not being tested now and displaying only mild symptoms, due to vaccines.

He did say 500,000 deaths without lockdowns, which looks pretty much spot on given that we’ve had at least 130,000 with a couple of those.

he said there's potential for that yes. Didn't say it was definitive. Are you aware of how modelling works? There's a range that's provided, at the lower end you'd have maybe 5000 as best case daily rate, that can range to 200,000 as worst case.

So a range of between 5,000 - 200,000 wow that's amazing, brick hot that is !!!

We had it at work once where the modelled loss was between $1 and $10bn and we paid a modelling company a lot of money a year for that

For the uk it hasn't really changed. Flattened and bumping about.

Us, japan getting bad. Aus slowly losing control of it. They really are in a race of vaccines v virus. They can't stay locked down too much longer.
 
Norway getting a lot of unused vaccines from Eastern European countries and should be done by end of September. My second dose appointment has been brought forward three weeks. Might even might get to see Spurs in the flesh again this year

So the WHO say Israel should be sending vaccines to poorer countries rather then give their people a third shot.

Nothing about us sending them to the EU as reported in the Telegraph yesterday.

Back in harness again shooting pro sports in Toronto. Our NBA, MLS and MLB teams all relocated their home games to Florida or New York (MLB) the past two seasons. Only had NHL hockey to shoot in that time with last season being only Canadian teams (7) playing one another with the border closed.

In July, things began to change and the teams migrated home. Since returning, I've shot baseball, MLS and the men's pro tennis tour event. By far, the best run event was the tennis. Absolutely buttoned down protocols for media. Had to show record of full vaccination, get tested every other day and fill out daily questionnaire in order to keep your chip-embedded credential valid. Miss out on daily duties and the pass is nullified.

Baseball's a joke. Media need proof of double jabs in order to attend games. Fans? Pfff. Anyone can get a ticket. A hoard of mouth breathers bellowing away with no masks on, sitting in close proximity to where we photograph and where the players benches are.

MLS is pretty lax, too. We have one colleague who won't get vaccinated and has shot two games. Don't want to be in the room with him. Happily, most of the pro teams in Toronto - and Canada - have announced that anyone attending must be fully vaccinated. Our colleague has just plunked down several tens of thousands of dollars to switch his camera gear over to the new Sony mirrorless system (20 frames per second) and now can't use it unless he gets jabbed. Arrivederci, bello.

The whole vaccine rollout management here from the Federal Government has been an absolute brick-show. They sat on their hands claiming 'It isn't a race' and now it is backfiring badly because a) they can't get sufficient amounts of Pfizer and b) a lot of people now think 'It can't happen to us here in Australia'.

Thank fudge I live in Western Australia where the State Government have (so far) got their brick together.
