Contingency planning : When Ange is sacked, who should replace him?

Surely later right?

I think it was when Trips was hiding the abdominal / groin issues and Winks may have had the first ankle injury issue. I thought it was before Dier had the appendix out and the year of immune system related issues. At least in my head the 17/18 season was when Jan and Dier held the fort together whilst the core around them were falling apart.

After posting this I'll have to go and check. You're probably right :)

Dier appendix Dec 2018
Winks first ankle injury Apr 2017
Wanyama knee cartilege injury pre-season 2017/18 (July)
Toby hamstring injury - 1 Nov 2017
Tripper - talks about the 18/19 season as when he should have had the op.

I've got it in my mind that Dier Dembele & Wanyana were all long term absentees around the same period of time

Whoever comes next after Ange must have proved that they can manage two fixtures a week, and that they have good squad management. For me those are imperative and lacking from some of the managerial options.

Iraola is a great manager but can his tactics work when the club that he is managing is involved in a European competition?

We don’t know
Poch had never done it either and in the end his lack of overall experience he what cost him IMO at key moments

Yeah, that's one of the reasons for me. It didn't work out for him at Everton, and now he's on his way back up.
Everton were a poorly run club… may still be
He was better than what we saw there
He also did well in Portugal before hand and I know olympiakos is a bit of a joke but again, unreal record there

i,ve suggested terzic but recently discovered that he has his doubters too. accusations of driving away top players, benefitting off the success of previous managers and unentertaining football.
Who are the hottest prospects around Europe now? Might add a poll, but need some names to go with the usuals like Iralola, Silva, Frank, McKenna, Poch.

Terzic is available. I guess we'll get a closer look at Toppmöller in a few weeks.

I wouldn't make a decision based on one game. I'm still in the Iraola camp as being the best fit. It will be interesting to see where Bournemouth finish the season.
of course, but it'll be interesting how they both fare - remember, they're only doing one game a week plus domestic cups
