Kulu and Benta comes to mind? Though I have to agree while thru turned out fine it felt a bit underwhelming til I saw them play.

Conte has a good track record of turning average into class doesn't he. Think Moses and Luiz for Chelsea.

He had a very good season for Barca, and very similarly to our other two recent signings, his form went to brick with a management change.

His range of passing is very good, I wonder if he's a short term/rotation option against teams that sit back and pass the bus, leaving the more defensive heavy games for Ben.

Think your being harsh
He has a talent for finding strengths in players and using it to their benefit and therefore his own

Possibly
He will struggle against a pressing side IMO
His passing is very very good but he takes risks
Difference here is he will have 2 very good DMs in front and also Dier normally behind with possibly Kulu as additional cover
He hasn’t had any of that at Barca
 
Ok, he doesn't seem the greatest defensively. But his passing and progressing the ball seem amazing. Could conte do his magic and in a back 3 turn him into a star?

Yes barca overpay but still they once thought he was worth €35m.
 
We're on the verge of getting another magnificent seven together, and we're just about into July! This has got to be some kind of record.
