And you watched Eastenders? A show about working class inner city Londoners written by middle class graduates from suburbia. Has anyone gone back to a pub they were banned from when there was the same landlord (someone who either owned or rented pub from brewery) not a manager.
Do you live in Camden? My heart sinks when ever I go back there, nothing exists I knew and nobody I knew lives there anymore.

3 episodes it was school holiday, i was 7 and we had little choice in channels. Parts of camden have changed and we lost a lot of pubs with more turning gastro. Hampstead and highgate not changed much though.

Keep all the tourist away from there. I pop up there a few times a year to see an old colleague who lives in Delancy Street, as you say many pubs gone or change name and style. Got my first pair of football boots from the big Co-op department store opposite the tube, Stanley Matthew's model. The Co-op went before you were born.
