They needed to get Hatch (Stallone) out of the cooler, so they said he was their keeper and the regular keeper had broken his arm. The Nazis said ok, as long as the injury was seen by their doctors. So the keeper really did take one for the team, asking Coltby (Caine) to make it a ‘clean break’ and stating that he wouldn’t even get to see the game.

So they broke the arm of the keeper who was actually a winger....and made the goals shorter for Stallone

Ossie has some great stories about filming it

Hope Poch puts out the most menacing and physically imposing squad for the champions league matches so we can tire them out, and beat them in the league.

It doesn’t get any better when they grow up by the way. They then have children who FaceTime you when they in the middle of a row with parents and try and drag you into it.
It’s so much fun!
