*** CL MD4 OMT Tottenham Hotspur v FC Copenhagen ***

Was a really encouraging cameo wasn’t it? Looked full of confidence and physicality. Does make you wonder why the loans haven’t worked out yet either.
The move for the penalty was actually incredible. Brought down a ball punted to him from the other side of the pitch, fairly isolated, but uses his strength to beat the defender and possibly would have scored (great pass from Porro, but to say he had a lot to do is an understatement)

Would love to see him get more cameos, but then I also thought Kolo Muani was excellent and should be our new full time striker

Just checking before bed…are we back to thinking that Frank is the dog’s b ollocks? Exactly what the club needs, brilliant progressive football etc?
It was what was needed tonight - that Copenhagen team were poor, but from the very start we were receiving the ball and looking forward which is all we can ask.

Man U will be the real test, but this should have given the team confidence to be able to pass and move going forward. Let's hope this is the foundation/template. Much better :)....

We need to stick with this setup for a bit. Make changes if players aren't fully fit or fresh, but you could tell how everyone started to figure out how to play as a team as the match went on.

Was the Johnson red really deserved? Was watching with the sound low while bouncing a baby on my knee…it looked like the Copenhagen player’s second step got into the space where Johnson had already made his tackle, so it seemed harsh?
Very harsh, ref got it right in real time with a yellow. No one would have even mentioned the incident again had VAR not got involved.

Very, was just a yellow. VAR showing stills of the point of contact and slow-motions persuades the ref that it's worse than it is.
