Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

I thought he was meant to be replacing Pep at City? That's why they got the Sporting Director from there too.

Shame if true, I was hoping they'd get someone terrible we could all laugh at
Plus Amorim is the latest "shiny toy" manager, young and unproven anywhere outside of Portugal.

As much as I love to see Man Utd struggle, even my schadenfreude threshold was being tested with Ten Haag in recent times.

The level of delusion was there was there for all to see and at the top level you have to be a touch deluded to get by but he was pushing it. It was from a while back but in a snippy interaction with a journo he asked "What problems there actually were with the team / set up", the journo responded with a concise itemized list of indisputable issues and Ten Haag's response was basically "Na na na naaa I can't hear you na na naaa naaa".

I'm uncomfortable with assistant managers taking over but especially with ones who were top players for that club, no doubt Van Nistelroy "gets" the club and understands the DNA of United as it that means anything given how good and way ahead the top clubs in the premier league are. I'd be worried if I was a Man Utd fan, many I know have just disconnected from football as it turns out they didn't love football, they just loved the feeling of winning. Despite their decline they did manage the FA cup against city so it hasn't even been that bad, but it's all perspective I guess.

They've won two FA Cups, two League Cups and the Europa League since Ferguson retired. I know that with their resources they should be doing a hell of a lot better, but I'd love a record like that!

Just sayin'.
Most would
People also forget the irrelevance of united before fergie where they were as much a cup team as we were
