Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

More should be made of this. VAR is there to double check these major incidents during the game. Now they are admitting they get these big decisions wrong too, Even with multiple angles and replays at the time.

I get your point, I believe this has happened after the media have had their say. After the game unbias opinion was split but most of media wanted to sympathise with Fernandes (United).

We hear during most games VAR have looked "at that" and said no action needed, we as fans/supporters/viewers rarely see the incident in question or have it forensically dissected by the expert pundits, should this now be transparent and if wrong be acted on, this sets a precedent.

But they didn’t get it wrong.

We’ve all seen it.

There is no interpretation of the laws that absolves it from being a red card offence.

All they are saying now is, sometimes the laws don’t matter.

Fans will never be happy.

Football is entertainment though. Does var make football more or less entertaining. For me it is less.

I just want to get more decisions right, which I think they originally did in this case.

Hopefully having him in the team will be a bigger detriment to them than a suspension.

fair enough, people like what they like

for me, the most entraining thing about football is seeing the fans of other clubs reaction, when VAR takes a goal away from them, or gives their opposition a penalty, the sheer anger and despair you see on faces, maybe even tears, its wonderful

You're a sociopath

Ahh, ha ha ha. There's Man U up 2-0 early at Porto with Rashford and Hojlund scoring. Eight minutes later, it's 2-1. Six minutes further on, it's 2-2.

Ten Hag beginning to feel the noose tighten.

Rashford subbed off at half time despite scoring and looking their best player going forward (according to Andy Townsend on commentary). Apparently he didn't track back for one of the Porto goals so has been hooked!

Anyone getting subbed for that 3rd goal....

And it's Ten Hag's darling De Ligt at fault for the last two goals. Can't match Samu's physicality or movement.

No one will read about our fine win if Man U lose this game. Hell, even if they get a result, this collapse is abject and fuel for the media fire they'll face.
