I wonder how many more years of tedious football from these bottle jobs until they finally fall from their perch...
Indeed, thanks to Dippers dominance of 70s & 80s then the Fergie years but eventually those halcyon times will become a distant memory and the youngsters will refuse to follow in their father’s footsteps... just as many of my older Spurs supporting mates’ sons defected to ManU during the 90sNothing to do with football it’s fan base size world wide.
Eyeballs are the key!
Sky/EPL show Man U and Liverpool the most and have done for years!

The infighting between those who are fed up and those who are still in denial keeps growing. Hopefully Jose gets to spunk a few hundred million more on players that won't improve them.
Mirror reporting he wants £250m of players this summer.
After his dealings to date, I wouldnt trust him with a fiver.
What happend to "train, work hard and improve as a team"? Never heard a player say it. It's always "we need different players than we have now"Manchester United can "fight for the title and the Champions League" with the right signings this summer, says midfielder Nemanja Matic.
United lost the FA Cup final 1-0 to Chelsea on Saturday and finished second in the Premier League, 19 points behind Emirates Marketing Project.
That came after spending £148m on transfers last summer, including big-money signings Matic and Romelu Lukaku.
Matic said players with "experience" are needed to "bring more qualities".
"The only team who is better than us this year is Emirates Marketing Project," said the Serbia international, 29.
"Obviously they play amazing football. But we are second and we are in the Champions League next year, which is the most important thing."
United have spent £261.67m over the past two seasons - £98.37m less than City - with a then world record £89m fee paid for midfielder Paul Pogba in 2016.
Striker Lukaku joined for £75m last summer and Matic moved to Old Trafford for £40m.
There were also other expensive deals, including moves for Victor Lindelof and fellow centre-back Eric Bailly, while forward Alexis Sanchez moved from Arsenal in January.
"We need some players with some experience to bring some more qualities to our team," added former Chelsea player Matic.
"After that, we can fight for the title and the Champions League also. I think that we have improved."
United last won the title in 2013 in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season in charge and have since finished seventh, fourth, fifth and sixth, before their second-placed finish this season
